Wildfire stood completely still, dark eyes staring down the Long Stretch while her mane and tail blew in the strong breeze that whipped across the plains. Her ears were laid back a little, and she breathed in deeply before letting it out in a soft huff of breath. The mare's head dipped a bit and she pawed the ground once, readying for a good, long, fast run. Her mind was focused on nothing else. A loud neigh pierced the open air almost as if the horse were challenging the winds to a race as the great ebony horse reared up on her hind legs and pawed at the air with white socked fore hooves.
Lunging forward, the equine pounded across the meadows with as must speed as the hot blooded mare could bring forth with her long legs. Head lurching forward with every stride, wide roaring past her ears, nothing couldn't of even been better then a feeling as great as this! Lean muscles rippled and worked beneath her glossy black pelt, made only more shiny by the little bit of a sweat she was working up. Running long and hard though, that was what she loved. Soaring across the vast grassy landscape, she felt as free as one of the mighty eagles that claimed the sky! Powerful white hooves sent clumps of grass and dirt flying in a cloud behind her.
Leaping into the air with a loud whinny, that was her final act before she began to slow to a canter. Up ahead she spotted the waterfall, and was grateful at the thought of something to drink. She had galloped a considerable distance down the stretch, and no doubt had worked up a considerable thirst. Slowing further into a trot as she near the drinking hole, Wildfire glanced for any dangers before finally slowing to a stop near the water's edge to catch her breath.
After taking a long drought of water, the equine walked over underneath a small tree. It provided some nice shade, enough for this mare to be satisfied with it. As she rested, her thoughts began to wander, and she wondered if any other horses might come around here. She hadn't seen any in quite some time, and to be honest it got rather boring without others around. Though it did depend a lot on the company... And with her quick temper especially, it did. Aside from that though, she liked to think she got along well enough with others of her kind. Unless they were thick headed stallions who only wanted you for mating, or arrogant Dark's, or even one of her own kind, a Light who constantly preached about the goodness in the world or... ok, so maybe she could be a bit picky herself, but wouldn't any sensible mare dislike those kinds of equines? She wasn't particularly prejudiced based on one's alignment, but she had found the stereotypes to be mostly true, and she didn't much like them. Even if she herself was a Light... well, this wasn't a great place to get into a debate with herself on that sort of thing though, was it? No, why not find something else to do if nobody else was around. And with that, the female began to graze on the sweet spring grass while wondering what had become of some of the other horses.
Words: 560 Muse: Pretty good. Other: Not quite as long as some of the other posts, sorry xD Not used to such a high average word count, but I tried eh? Also, let me know if there are any mistakes or anything, I've never roleplayed horses so go easy! xD

The Gypsy's dark mood hung dormant, idle in the back of his broad cerebrum - awaiting to be re-summoned. It took little to irk the stallion, though he was quite practiced in keeping on a thick facade. He seldom thought of himself as lacking control, and as he shifted through the sandy surface along the river's beach, he ventured farther toward the long stretch. He wasn't entirely familiar with this area, no did he want to be. Like any noble steed, he wanted a bit of mares to spice up the love life; and memorizing every rock outside of his territory couldn't very well do so.
